Data Collection & Management Intern

Perla Acevedo is a student at The City College of New York, pursuing a bachelor's degree in Childhood Education. She is passionate about working with children and youth and actively engages with nonprofit organizations that support BIPOC and low-income communities. Her interest in youth involvement in food justice began in 2020 when she joined the Youth Empowerment Pipeline as an intern. Over the past four years, Perla has developed a deep understanding of the importance of educating young people about the injustices impacting our communities and how collective efforts can drive meaningful change.
